Getting started with e-learning
Getting started with e-learning can be daunting and it can also be expensive so why not have a helping hand at the beginning?
Would you like a Moodle area to get started with your very first e-learning course?.. put your toe in the water to test it out.
Not only do you get access to your own secure online course but I can help you transform your existing materials into engaging and professional online training content.
I can advise you on which way to offer the materials to suit your trainees, such as:
- – self-directed e-learning objects so that people learn at their own pace and work in their own time. You track what they do, when they do it.
- – an interactive programme with forum discussions, collaborative activities, reflective journals and with activities guided by a facilitator or trainer.
- – real-time learning sessions using Skype or conferencing tools. This works well to supplement other online materials and is ideal for tutorials or support sessions.
So my offer includes:
- To take your existing content (in pdf, document or even paper format) and transform it into multimedia and interactive content. You will, of course, need to supply images and relevant links.
- To present the content in a Moodle course and give you and your trainees access to this area for 6 months.
- To provide you with 8 hours of support and a mini ‘Train the Trainer’ guidance so you can edit and control the area, use online tools and have a brief understanding about supporting learners online.
